From #ChildrensHospitalsWeek Conference in Orlando, we saw great successes:
For the 11th straight year, we received the highest fundraising per capita award ($2.37) for CMN Hospitals serving a population of between 1 million and 3 million. We were surpassed in the total dollars raised award for mid-size by Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, which has a robust and growing Dance Marathon program.
Debbie Hill, manager of the GIANT Family Foundation, received the 2019 Corporate Person of the Year award. The foundation hosts an annual golf outing to raise millions of dollars for several CMN Hospitals. In 2018, GIANT Foods Store donated $780,068 to Children’s Miracle Network Hershey.
Dairy Queen Grill & Chill on Roosevelt Avenue in York was also recognized for being the top fundraising DQ in the country, raising $71,570.59 in 2018.
#ChildrensHospitalWeek was an extremely successful event that allowed the CMN team to think outside the box and enter into a brand-new fundraising event. CMN was incredibly thankful for all the efforts, enthusiasm, leadership and passion that every sponsor gave to this initiative.
